Mac’n’Cheese!

I thought I’d start this month off with a new recipe I have been enjoying!
(Muuuuch healthier than the last one I shared…)

I loooooove mac’n’cheese!

But unfortunately on Slimming World it really isn’t that great! So I needed to find an alternative that meant it wouldn’t effect my weight loss too much and well I found this…

No, it doesn’t taste the same but its still good! And at only 3 syns a serving, you can’t really go wrong! (This recipe serves 4)

Ingredients:
300g Macaroni Pasta
300g Spring Greens
350g Fromage Frias
170g extra-light soft cheese with garlic and herbs
2 level tbsp Parmesan Cheese

Method:
Cook the macaroni pasta as recommended on the packet.
In the last 3 minutes add the chopped spring greens.
While the macaroni is cooking, mix together the fromage frais and cream cheese in a bowl.
Drain the macaroni and greens and add to the bowl and mix all ingredients together until everything is coated.
Pour mixture into an ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle parmesan on the top and place in the oven for 20 minutes of until golden on top.
Serve and enjoy!

I wasn’t sure of this at first but I actually really enjoyed it!
I also added spinach in it one time, along with the spring greens, and I am going to try adding bacon next time too.
If you add anything to this when you give it a try, let me know so I can give it a try!

I want to reiterate that this is not my own recipe, but one in a Slimming World Recipe Book that you can purchase via Slimming World.

Enjoy!
